Seller Listing Guidelines

Any registered seller on ClothesBazzar with a verified account and valid GSTIN can create product listings on the platform. Seller accounts must be fully verified before listings go live.

• You must be at least 18 years of age.
• Your seller account must have completed KYC verification.
• A valid GSTIN is mandatory for all sellers.
• Your registered business address must be within India.
• Sellers must agree to and comply with the ClothesBazzar Terms and Conditions.

ClothesBazzar is a clothing-only marketplace. Only clothing and garment products are permitted on the platform. The following categories are allowed:

Mandatory Fields

• Product title: clear, descriptive, and accurate (max 150 characters).
• Product category: correct category selection is mandatory.
• Product description: minimum 100 characters, accurate, and in English or Hindi.
• Price: must be in Indian Rupees (INR), inclusive of all taxes.
• Available sizes: all available sizes must be clearly listed.
• Color: accurate color name and variation listing.
• Material and fabric: e.g. cotton, polyester, silk, blended.
• Brand name (if applicable): genuine brand only, no counterfeit claims.
• Stock quantity: accurate inventory count at all times.

Size Guide

Sellers are strongly encouraged to provide a size chart with exact measurements (chest, waist, hip, length in centimeters) for every listing. Accurate size information reduces returns and improves buyer satisfaction.

Product images are the most important element of a listing. All images must meet the following standards:

• Minimum 1 image required; maximum 8 images allowed per listing.
• Minimum resolution: 800 x 800 pixels. Recommended: 1200 x 1200 pixels.
• White or light neutral background preferred for the main product image.
• The product must occupy at least 85% of the image frame.
• Images must show the actual product being sold, not a similar or representative item.
• Lifestyle images (worn by a model) are allowed as secondary images but not as the main image.
• No watermarks, logos, promotional text, or borders on any product image.
• Images must not be blurred, pixelated, or poorly lit.

Pricing Rules

• Prices must be accurate and reflect the actual selling price of the item.
• MRP (Maximum Retail Price) must not be listed below the actual cost price.
• Sellers must not engage in price manipulation, artificial inflation, or deceptive discounting.
• Prices must include all applicable GST. Prices shown to buyers are inclusive of tax.
• Sellers can update prices at any time but must ensure consistency across all variants.

Inventory Management

• Inventory counts must be kept accurate and up to date at all times.
• Listing an item as in stock when it is unavailable is a policy violation.
• Sellers must pause or deactivate listings for out-of-stock items promptly.
• Overselling due to inaccurate inventory may result in order cancellations and penalties.

The following types of listings are strictly prohibited on ClothesBazzar:

• Counterfeit, replica, or fake branded clothing.
• Used, worn, or second-hand clothing items.
• Non-clothing products of any kind.
• Clothing with offensive, discriminatory, or obscene text, images, or branding.
• Listings that misrepresent the product category, material, brand, or origin.
• Duplicate or identical listings of the same product (catalog flooding).
• Listings that violate any third-party intellectual property rights.
• Products that do not comply with applicable Indian safety or labeling standards.

ClothesBazzar maintains a quality score for every seller based on listing accuracy, return rates, and buyer feedback. Maintaining high listing quality directly impacts your visibility and sales.
